Brinkheugh deserted medieval settlement (Brinkburn and Hesleyhurst)

A series of earthworks lie in fields south of Brinkheugh and have been interpreted as remains of a former hamlet or village. Low banks divide the area into plots and vague platforms may indicate the position of buried house foundations.
