Bronze Age burial cairn (Brinkburn and Hesleyhurst)

In the early 19th century a cairn, containing a cist with a pottery urn and a cremation, was disturbed by a farmer near Thistleyhaugh. A large stone slab was also found nearby and may have been part of another stone cist. The find was described as similar to another Bronze Age burial cairn to the west. There are no traces of these discoveries today.
