Coldwell (Stannington)

This is the site of the deserted medieval village of Coldwell, which was first recorded in 1242. The last reference to the site comes from 1362. No remains were shown on a map of 1603. Earthwork remains were recorded in the early 19th century, but nothing can be seen in the area now.
