Church of St John the Baptist (Meldon)
The church of St John the Baptist was built in the early 13th century, and restored in 1849. The pavement in the chancel was made by Minton, a noted 19th century manufacturer of ornamental tiles. This is a Grade I Listed Building protected by law.
