Old fields south-west of East Shield Farm (Hebron)

The remains of medieval or post-medieval fields lie just north of the Old Race Course on Cottingwood Common. They are earthworks with ridge and furrow in them as well as a possible pond. The ditches and pond may have been used to manage water and drainage here.
