Chiremundesden (Netherton with Biddlestone; Harbottle)

Chiremundesden was one of the Ten Towns of Coquetdale listed in 1242 but its name and site are no longer known. The manor consisted of a village, two corn mills and 820 acres of land according to a medieval survey of the district and the 19th century township of Peels was thought to lie within its bounds.
