Milbourne Hall (Ponteland)
John Patterson of Edinburgh built Milbourne Hall in 1807-9. From the outside it appears very plain, but inside nearly every room is oval in plan. A stable block stands nearby; it is octagonal in shape and has a central courtyard. They are Grade I Listed Buildings protected by law.
