Simonside Cairn (Whitton and Tosson)
This large cairn stands on the western summit of Simonside Hill, overlooking the Coquet valley. It has been constructed on a rocky outcrop with wide views in all directions. The well-preserved stone is built from large stone boulders. It is probably a Bronze Age burial mound. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
