Angerton Steads Roman settlement (Hartburn)
The remains of a small Roman period settlement are known near Angerton Steads. Although it has been ploughed in the past it was still visible as an earthwork in the 1980s. It is roughly rectangular in shape with an entrance in the east side. Later ridge and furrow runs across the enclosure.
