Bob Gin Pitt (Wallington Demesne)

This is a drainage system for Bob Gin Pitt. It is a good example of the type of drainage system operated during the later 18th century before the invention of the steam engine. The remains included a wheel pit, a shaft and a leat. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
