Roman enclosure south-west of Hartburn (Hartburn)

This enclosure was found by aerial photography in the 1960s, and was visible as a cropmark. It lies near the route of the Devil's Causeway Roman road and was probably a small Roman settlement or enclosure for farm animals built by the native Britons.
