Round Cairn (Matfen)
These are the remains of a Bronze Age round cairn. It is built of stone and earth and is over 16m wide. The to of the mound is very flat and may have been carefully levelled. During the 19th century, and unknown antiquarian uncovered the remains of two stone-lined graves containing the remains of a cremation.
