Prehistoric burial (Capheaton)

A prehistoric burial was discovered in 1840, together with a pottery urn and three jet beads, near Kirkheaton when a drain was being dug. The remains all lay beneath some large flat stones, which may have been part of a cist. No further information is known about the remains.
