Possible motte (Bywell)
This mound stands between 5m and 6.6m high and clearly artificial. It is roughly conical in shape with a ditch around three sides. Although the mound has been damaged by quarrying it is still characteristic of a medieval motte and has commanding views to the east, south and west.
