Eggleston, Foggerthwaite (Eggleston)

This is the remains of a small medieval farmstead. The foundations of a small group of rectangular and oval buildings can be seen. They are next to a large medieval earth bank and were probably part of a 13th-14th century farm owned by the monks of Rievaulx Abbey.
