Brandon Walls Mine (Eastgate)
This lead mine was originally opened by Thomas Featherstonehaugh in 1662 and used until 1882. The mine was finally closed in 1882 and was abandoned around 1903. A group of lime kilns, a small quarry and a stretch of railway stand nearby.
