Romaldkirk, Briar Dykes (Romaldkirk)

A large number of flint tools and fragments from their manufacture were found here. Over 540 pieces were found. They probably date to the late Mesolithic (8000-4000BC). They were found on the site of a later Iron Age (800BC to AD43) enclosure.
