Chapel, Castle Steads, Rowley, Esh Winning (Esh Winning)
This is the site of a small medieval chapel (2). It was first mentioned in the second half of the twelfth century. The remains include a small rectangular enclosure surrounding small banks that may be the remains of the chapel walls. This is a Scheduled Ancient Monument protected by law.
