The parish church of Bournmoor was built 1867-8. It is built from brick, and has a slate roof. There is a large white marble Angel of Victory in north aisle, 1894 by Waldo Storey, commemorating 3rd and 4th Earls of Durham. MEMORIALS: the church contains a number of war memorials dedicated to individuals and parishioners who died during world conflicts. They include plaques and stained glass windows (1).
