Lithics site, Framwellgate Moor, Frankland Wood (Framwellgate Moor)

A large number of prehistoric flints were found in this area on the edge of Frankland Wood in the 1950s and 1960s. As well as the remains of tools there was also evidence that the tools were actually made at this site.
